Cured in salt and packed into sealed Vacuum pouches our Butcher Pack contains enough casings to make approx. 163kg (360lbs) of sausages. This pack contains 4 traditionally salted hanks of good-coloured casings, 90mtrs tied with a black tag and vac packed. They are ideal for Farm Shops & Butchers. These Hogs are graded to 35/38mm wide & make a superb Cumberland or Lincolnshire-style sausage. They are also ideal for Boerewors, Bratwurst or Chorizo.
All these Hog Casings are prepared from Prime British Hog (Pork) Casings and are carefully selected and graded by a team of skilled staff. Each length of casing is water tested, graded, & finally cured in salt. British Hog Casings are strong in the filling but much more tender on the palate than most imported Hog.
