The great thing about collagen casings is that they are less messy than natural casings and if stored in a cool dry place, they will last indefinitely.
Collagen 23mm casings are the collagen casing equivalent of a ‘wide’ Sheep Casing. Ideal for a Breakfast type sausage, or premium sausage using Pork, Beef, or Game.
Collagen Casings or ‘artificial 'casings are quick and easy to use. They are supplied dry and each ‘concertinaed’ rod will fill up to 12.5 metres of sausage. Simply cut a section and place over the nozzle of your stuffer.
