The 30mm collagen casings are the go-to size for making a thick Lincolnshire/Cumberland-sized sausage. It is also recommended to use this size for game sausages if you prefer to use collagen casings.
The great thing about collagen casings is that they are less messy than natural casings and if stored in a cool dry place, they will last indefinitely.
These are the 30mm Collagen casings and are designed to mimic the size of the natural Hog Casing. They are specifically used to create the ideal Lincolnshire style sausage or thick Pork or Game
Collagen Casings or ‘artificial' casing are quick and easy to use. They are supplied dry and each ‘concertinaed’ rod will fill up to 12.5 metres of sausage. Simply cut a section and place over the nozzle of your stuffer.
Each pack contains 4 x 12.5mtr Rods, and provided they are kept dry will keep indefinitely.
