The home pack spooled hog casings come in a pack of 40 metres with 10 metres on each rod. As these casings a ready spooled it make the process of getting the skin on to the nozzle a walk in the park. The casings come salted and vacuum packed. As the casings come on 4 rods it has never been easier to make sausages in such small quanitites. Simply take 1 spool out and store the others a way in a dry cool space ready for use next time.
Product Details
The spooled hog casings are by far our most popular casing and it is easy to see why. They come in a 40 metre pack on an incredibly easy-to-use plastic rods. They are ready-spooled so all you have to do is soak them in warm water, then slide them straight from the rod onto the nozzle of your sausage-machine.
No more fiddling around looking for the ends, the whole process takes seconds.
Each pack contains 4 x 10mtr rods with a calibre of 34/+mm. This pack will make approx. 40lbs of sausage. They come vac packed and cured in salt which will keep up to six months in the fridge and can be split down and frozen if required.
The Ready Spooled Hog Casings will produce a really fine looking Cumberland or BBQ type sausage. Hog Casings are also ideal for Venison Sausages, Bratwurst or Boerewors.
