These casings require a bespoke nozzle due to the small diameter of these casings. 7-8mm stuffing tube size would work.
Product Details
These are a specialised snack sausage casings from Devro. With a 15mm diameter, these casings are ideal for making stick sausage products including, beer sticks, beef sticks, cabanossi, Landjäger, snack sticks, pepper salami, pepperoni, pepper sticks and mini salami.
Made from the collagen protein found in animal connective tissue, the walls of this casing are strong enough to resist high stuffing pressure. This results in a uniform, consistent sausage. The casings are odorless and are clear in colour.
These casings offer excellent drying and processing capabilities whilst also taking on the colour of the meat brilliantly.
They are tender to bite into and therefore are pleasant to eat. As this is a collagen product, they have a uniform calibre and length making them a highly efficient product to work with.
