Plain Black Pudding Casings (70mm x 30mtrs)

A plain tubular plastic black pudding casing with a diameter of 70mm and a length of 30mtr. Simply tie one end before filling your black pudding mixture into the casing and tie off the other end with butcher's twine.

These casings will cling tight to the mixture ensuring you maximise your yields and no air pockets are formed.

Product Details 

These black pudding casings come in a constructed continuous tubular form and are made with several polymer layers that combine into one 'structure'. These casings have all the positive properties to produce black pudding efficiently whilst also acheiving an increased shelf life on the product.

They provide a great way to encase and display your black pudding ready to be freshly sliced. 

Once you fill the casings, tie off the end with butcher's twine and place in a sous vide at 82 degrees for 15-20mins or if you don't have sous vide machine simmer for 15 to 20mins ensuring the water is simmering but not boiling.

Once sliced the skin will easily peel away ready for consumption.

Whilst these casings are usually used for black pudding in the UK, they can also be used for cooked blood sausage, bologna, poultry, beef sausage, pork sausage and pet food.
