The 28mm collagen casings are the collagen equivalent of a thin hog casing and will make a thick Lincolnshire/Cumberland-sized sausage. They are also ideal for those who want to make a game sausage.
The great thing about collagen casings is that they are less messy than natural casings and if stored in a cool dry place, they will last indefinitely.

These are the Collagen 28mm casings which are the Collagen equivalent of a Hog Casing. They are ideal for a ‘Cumberland’ style sausage or a typical beef ore game sausage.
Collagen Casings or ‘artificial' casing are quick and easy to use. They are supplied dry and each ‘concertinaed’ rod will fill up to 12.5 metres of sausage!! Simply cut a section and place over the nozzle of your stuffer.
Each pack contains 4 x 12.5mtr Rods and provided they are kept dry will keep indefinitely.
