Traditional HUKKI casing are a synthetic non-edible plain casing that have an old-world look. They have high permeability lending themselves to air, smoke and water vapour leading to a shorter curing time and an excellent tasting product.
Hukki casings produce all kinds of dry sausage i.e. air dried, smoked and salami. These casings have an 85mm diameter and 75cm length.
To use them briefly dip into cold water with 10-15% salt water solution.

These synthetic non-edible Hukki Casings are ideal for making long pieces of Salami and other dried sausages. Made from a collagen-coated textile fabric, hukki casings offer users a versatile casing that is sturdy, breathable and flexible.
These simple plain Hukki casings have a matte surface and clear appearance and look beautiful once filled with an authentic appeal that stands out. The diameter of the casing is 85mm whilst the length of the casing is 75cm with each casing clipped and lopped at one end making them easy to fill and hang.
Once the final sausage/salami product has been made HUKKI casings can be easily peeled off and ready for consumption.
