These casings have been specifically graded to make Boerewors sausages but you can make any sausage you wish with these casings. Their chunky nature and natural curve create the iconic boerewors spiral that would not look out of place at any South African BBQ.

These narrow hog casings 30/34mm have been specially graded for end users to produce the perfect South African Boerewors sausage.
They come packaged in a red net and tied together with a yellow ring. They are all vacuum-packed and preserved in salt to ensure a long shelf life. This pack will make approximately 90lb (40kg) of sausage.
Once opened simply store in a Tupperware or vacuum pouch and resalt the casings with normal table salt.
