These beautiful pre-flushed hog casings are supplied on a silver ring in a salty brine and vacuum-packed. They come packed and ready for use in a 72mtr pack. As they have been pre-flushed they are a little softer than the other hog casings on our website.
They are a medium hog casing produced to meet the highest of standards.
These hog casings have specially graded 35/38mm and are classed as a wide hog casing. These British casings are produced from high-quality pigs and are perfect for making Cumberland/Lincolnshire-style sausages.
They come in packs of 72 metres and are cured in salt, tied with a silver ring and vac packed. This pack will make approximately 34kg (75lb) of sausages.
For best results soak these skins in warm water overnight before use. Store these casings in the fridge or a Tupperware container if you have any left over.
